Join us on Friday, November 13 at 7:00 pm for our first ever nationwide live streamed "A Worthwhile Telethon" to raise funds for survivors of human trafficking!
Each year Worthwhile Wear hosts a signature event called “A Worthwhile Evening” where a significant amount of our annual operating fund is raised. As our planning team evaluated the current state of affairs, we deemed it would be best to cancel our in-person fundraiser and come up with something completely new.
Our team has thought far outside the box to eliminate any chance of cancellation and still provide an engaging evening for our audience. We decided to do so in a fashion that is a nod to the past: by holding a live streamed telethon.
Your financial contributions from "A Worthwhile Telethon" will allow us to reach and restore lives affected by human trafficking.
Viewers that register or host a watch party will be sent a direct link to the live stream broadcast the night of the telethon, so put November 13 on your calendar and invite your friends!
A Worthwhile Telethon will be broadcast live on Facebook, Youtube, and here on our website so viewers can watch from any computer, smart TV, or other mobile device.
Viewers will participate in live giving challenges throughout the night by calling in to pledge their donation or by making their donation online with a credit card. Check back for more details.

We're going to have some fun with MLB catcher, Erik Kratz in a segment called, "What Can Erik Catch?". Kratz is used to catching baseballs for the New York Yankees and previously was a catcher for the Philadelphia Phillies, so hopefully his past experience can help him catch some unusual things we plan to throw at him. For every catch he makes a donation will by made by a partnering sponsor.
All great telethons have a big band, so we will be welcoming a nine-piece brass band to our stage along with special music from singer Justin Hange.
Lives changed and stories of hope- that's what we're here for. We will check in with a few graduates from The Well program.
Hear from Ricky Staub, a Philly film maker who will share about the power of storytelling and how he's using his film company to help others. Staub is most recently known for writing and directing the 2020 film, Concrete Cowboy, staring Idris Elba.
Although our fall fundraiser has changed quite a bit, we will still have a silent auction for bidders to place bids virtually. No more clip-boards and pens!
