As you may already know, we've had to close our Worthwhile Thrift Store as a result of the COVID-19, which has had a significant impact on being able to fund our programs. During this uniquely challenging time we, more now than ever before, rely on our supporters to keep this important work moving forward. As the world struggles with this pandemic, we also realize that there are many in our local communities continuing to battle for their survival from another tragic affliction; slavery. Modern day slavery doesn't slow, or give reprieve for those it has captured, and the trauma it inflicts requires organizations like ours to continue to help the hurt. Our housing program, The Well, is still serving survivors, and we are preparing to reopen our survivor focused community outreach program, Worth It, as soon as we are able. But in order for us to do this, we need your support. Thank you for seeing the value in the women we serve, and for choosing to support this work in the midst of your own hardships and trying times.
