Mask Making

Mask Making

Help Worthwhile Wear make 10,000 masks for healthcare workers serving in nursing homes across America

In partnership with

Worthwhile Wear and 360care are partnering together to provide masks to go in care packages for healthcare workers within the 360care network.  360care has chosen Worthwhile Wear as the maker of these masks.  Normally, we would work with our India team to produce these, but with everything shut down, we are turning to our own volunteers, supporters, staff and participants to help make this happen!

Working alongside us to fulfill this order helps two groups of people: those serving on the front line during this pandemic, and local survivors of human trafficking (any funds raised go directly to our housing and restorative programs).

Here's how you can help:

  1. Sign up (below) for how many masks you want to make.
  2. You'll receive an email from us with options for where you can pick up your mask-making supplies. (We provide the pre-cut fabric, tie straps & labels, and you supply the white thread, a single needle sewing machine, and your awesomeness!)
  3. When you pick up your supplies follow these instructions, so we can ensure all masks are made the same. (You will also receive a copy of the instructions when you pick up your supplies)
  4. Send a photo(s) of your first completed mask to volunteer@worthwhilewear.org for quality control.  If all looks good- sew away!
  5. Drop off your completed masks at the the predetermined locations which will be sent by email after you sign up.

We hope you have fun doing this!  Be sure to snap some photos and tag us @worthwhilewear

Any questions, please email Volunteer@WorthwhileWear.org

Thank you for your support of healthcare workers AND survivors of human trafficking!
