ACT Worthwhile

Raise awareness about human trafficking and raise $1 for every mile walked, run, or biked

As the world struggles with this pandemic, we also realize that there are many in our local communities continuing to battle for their survival from another tragic affliction; slavery. Modern day slavery doesn't slow, or give reprieve for those it has captured, and the trauma it inflicts requires organizations like Worthwhile Wear to continue to help the hurt.

Our fight to end modern day slavery is not a fight we do alone.  There is action for you to take and this isn't the kind of action that is prevented by social distance or a stay at home order.  It's something you can do right now, wherever you are, with whatever abilities you have.

How to Join this free event

This free event is open to anyone anywhere. No need to register, simply use the hashtag #actworthwhile on Facebook or Instagram and post your route image or miles.  (If your Instagram profile is set to private, we will not be able to see your post, so please email your image/mileage to info@worthwhilewear.org)

Our Goal: 23,078 Miles

In 2018, the National Human Trafficking Hotline identified 23,078 survivors of human trafficking in the United States, so we walk for them and for survivors everywhere. For every mile recorded, businesses will donate $1, so be sure to use #actworthwhile and post the miles you walk, run, or bike, so that your miles can translate into funding for programming and housing for survivors of human trafficking.
